These funeral urns and memorials are so named with good reason: when placed near a sunny window, the many facets of these handmade pieces reflect a virtual constellation of lights throughout the room ... this becomes a daily and uplifting effect that occurs at the same time each day.

The Reflections Collection is comprised of funeral urns for adults in two sizes (Large for a person up to 200 lbs, and Medium for up to 175 lbs), sphere urns for a child or infant in three sizes, and spheres sized as pet urns.

The full sized urns are hand crafted in art glass, with a silver plated ring at the rim, and a choice of sphere top or flat top, depending on height availability in the urn's intended location. Included with the urn is a plastic liner bag, instructions for transfer of ashes, and permanent sealing silicone.

The spheres, also hand made in art glass, sit atop a solid brass stand and feature a solid brass Closure, which is finely threaded to the urn, and provides enough area for engraving with name, dates, and a few meaningful words of remembrance.  Included within each sphere is a plastic liner bag, instructions for ashes transfer, a velvet pouch and a small ziplock bag for containing mementos separately from the ashes.

Lately, people are considering doing something about their own funeral plans.  If you’ve chosen cremation, your loved ones most likely know that this is your choice – but unfortunately that's about all.

What happens when your time has come?  In a very distressed state of mind, your loved ones start to make choices about your funeral with the help of their funeral director. As part of the cremation arrangements, they try to choose an urn for containing the ashes.  At this point, while in a state of emotional duress, many opt for a basic box, with the intention of finding an urn later.  The box goes into the closet, with the idea of finding the right urn later, and it sometimes becomes a forgotten, unresolved intention.

Hopefully an urn is eventually purchased, and the funeral home will then transfer the ashes for you.  The urn may be placed in a cemetery, a columbarium niche at the cemetery or within your church, in a mausoleum, or within your family's home on a fireplace mantel, in a china cabinet, or on a shelf where it becomes a loving reminder of you, and part of the their everyday life.
